Comments

These fish love to bury themselves in sandy substrate, can and will uproot plants within the tank. Closely related to the Whiptail Catfish. Strangely their scales actually contains Keratin, so it can be called "Skin". They also shed their skin from time to time. The filtration system can easily get clogged by the shedding habits of this fish.
