Description

The Blue-crown is primarily green. It has a small light-blue color on the top of the head It also has the Conure white-patch eye.

Sexing

The white eye patch of the blue crown conure is usually larger in the male. Also, the feathers on the cere are slightly longer on the male.

Origin

Venezuela, Columbia, and Brazil.

Trainability

The Blue-crowns have been regarded as one of the most intelligent conures. Can be taught to talk, and are very affectionate.

Loudness

As with most Aritanga, it has a loud voice.
